Bonnie Roach
Bachelor of Nursing
University of Wollongong
Bonnie is passionate about health and this year will be studying nursing at the University of Wollongong. Bonnie is also a gifted and committed runner specialising in 800 and 1500m races. She travels to Ulladulla each week to compete and train for these events.
Drew Hubbard
Apprentice Carpenter
TAFE Moruya
Drew commenced a school-based apprenticeship in carpentry. He has combined school study with his apprenticeship since Year 11, so Drew has a HSC and is well on his way to completing his apprenticeship. Drew has started work in Mossy Point with his new employer.
Emma Moses
Bachelor of Nursing
University of Wollongong
Emma is a keen netballer; she was Dux each year from Year 7 to Year 11 and is an integral part of her school leadership team. She is a very focused young lady with a passion for health sciences but in the future, she would also like to learn sign language to add to her many skills.
Alana Gallan
Bachelor of Law and International Studies
University of Wollongong
Alana has demonstrated her academic excellence in the past year, ranking first in most of her HSC subjects. She received early entry to the University of Wollongong As well as a love of the outdoors and sport, Alana has been working three jobs over the summer to get ready for university life.
Tayissa Brierley

University of Wollongong
Tayissa is an impressive young person with many talents in the sporting arena. Tayissa has represented herself, her school and her community at Zone and Regional levels in touch football, athletics, X-country, basketball and netball, and at the international level in netball. With all of these skills Tayissa has naturally decided to become a PE teacher and she will study at the University of Wollongong.
Nieve Blackman
Bachelor of Psychological Science
Charles Sturt University
Nieve has accepted a position at Charles Sturt University, Port Macquarie. Nieve’s interests are broad – from world cultures, competitive sport and outdoor activities to her passion for health studies. Nieve is a confident, active young person who is focussed on listening to and helping others in the community.
Makadde Ethel
Bachelor of Health Science
Australian National University
Makadde will be heading to Canberra to study a Bachelor of Health Sciences at ANU. She has a particular interest in women’s health and looks forward to making a positive contribution in this area in the future. Makadde finds walking and swimming provide a relaxing outlet when she is studying.
Dylan Golden
Bachelor of Film Production
University of Canberra
Since completing his HSC in 2021, Dylan has created his own website for his photography. Dylan uses his drones to support Surf Lifesaving clubs in alerting them as to the location of sharks. He holds an Aeronautical Radio Certificate as well as a remote pilot’s licence. Dylan is going to the University of Canberra to study Film production and will be the first of his family to attend university.
Phoebie Kinnane
Bachelor of Nursing
University of Wollongong
Phoebe has a passion for people and helping others. Her goal is to achieve a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Wollongong. She then intends to do further study, pursuing her interest in paediatric nursing. Phoebe has also played representative netball and has earned her ‘C’ badge in umpiring netball. Phoebe hopes to continue her umpiring journey with the Illawarra Academy of Sport this year.

Joel Verdoux
Apprentice Barber
TAFE Moruya
Joel has completed his HSC while concurrently studying Barbering at TAFE. He is already working as an apprentice barber in the local area. In the future, he wants to open his own barber shop, which he hopes will develop into a chain, offering personalised barbering services.
